The compressor uses a belt attached to the engine to pressurize the refrigerant gas. The condenser removes heat and cools the refrigerant gas so that it forms into a high-pressure liquid. The liquid then expands and turns into a low-pressure liquid before it moves to the evaporator. After passing through the evaporator, the refrigerant liquid turns into a gas and moves out of the evaporator to take the heat out of your vehicle's cabin.
