Experienced Service Advisor and Service Technician

Location: La Mesa, California

Salary: Starting at $65,000 + Sales Bonus

As a family-owned and operated business, we value integrity, teamwork, and a positive work culture. We are currently looking for full-time Service Advisors and Service Technicians to join our team.

Job Description:

We are seeking two dedicated positions to join our growing team:

  • Service Advisor: Provide top-tier customer service, clearly communicate with customers about their vehicle maintenance needs, and educate them on services and pricing.
  • Service Technician: Perform vehicle diagnostics and provide effective solutions to any mechanical or technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Advisors:

  • Greet customers and assess their service needs.
  • Clearly communicate available services, pricing, and maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service transactions.
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist in fostering a positive, team-oriented workplace culture.
  • Training available for candidates with sales/customer service experience.

Service Technicians:

  • Perform vehicle inspections and follow diagnostic procedures.
  • Communicate with Service Advisors to discuss vehicle issues and possible solutions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and contribute to shop cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and service goals.
  • Continued education provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor or Auto Diagnostic Technician (ASE Certifications a plus).
  • Technicians must have their own tools and ability to use computers/tablets for Digital Vehicle Inspection Reports.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on building relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Alignment with a family-oriented company culture.
